Prepare a Grant application

Application collection is not active on this rebuilt site while the secure receiving service is being set up for the approved 2026 round.

01

Confirm the round first

The approved 2026 deadline is December 1, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Read /2026-award/ for the current eligibility and 600–700-word prompt. Applications remain closed until the new secure service is verified; the January 31, 2025 deadline belongs to the historical round.

02

The earlier application asked for

  • Name, telephone, email and mailing address.
  • Institution, student ID, field of study and cumulative GPA.
  • A professional image or LinkedIn URL and a short personal introduction.
  • An essay PDF and a separate PDF combining enrollment verification with an academic transcript.

The earlier form displayed a 5 MB limit for each PDF. This list documents the old process; it is not a request to send these materials now.

03

Prepare without sharing private documents

  • Keep your own copy of the instructions for the correct round.
  • Make a private checklist of the required materials.
  • Draft your response in your own words and check it against the exact prompt.
  • Confirm the secure upload route and how your documents will be handled before sending them.
04

After a submission

A genuine submission process should give you a clear result or receipt. Keep that confirmation with a copy of your materials. If a page reports an error, check with the program before sending duplicate documents. A selection announcement is a later, separate step.
