About the Suneet Singal Grant

A $1,000 no-essay student award, alongside practical resources for turning study into useful skills.

01

A field of study. A reason to pursue it.

The Suneet Singal Grant is a student award program bearing Suneet Singal’s name. The 2026 round requires no essay and a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA through the latest completed semester. One recipient is chosen by random draw among verified eligible applicants. The historical 2025 essay asked about a major and intended contribution. The connection between interest, learning and contribution is the focus of this website’s practical resources.

The historical 2025 essay question

When you selected your major, what was it that drove you to study that particular field? What change do you believe this will help you implement into the world?

The original program guide specified 600–700 words. That is a historical instruction, not confirmation of the requirements for a new application round. Check the applicable rules before preparing or submitting an essay.
